Memorial Weekend Events

I hope you all have a fabulous Memorial Day Weekend. Of course, the place to be for any NYC urbanite is the DanceAfrica celebration in Brooklyn. It’s one of my all-time favorite traditions, and it’s great to see all of my dancing sisters come together– It’s like a family reunion of sorts. This weekend, I will be hosting a DanceAfrica brunch with a few of my girlfriends, and we’ll spend the rest of the afternoon playing in the BAM parking lots, shopping and listening to great music. Don’t miss it! Tip: If you were unable to get a ticket for the performance, hang around until intermission; the audience tends to thin out, and you can grab a seat if you’re lucky!
