I know recession is the word that everyone is avoiding these days but it seems obvious that’s where we are headed as a nation. It really doesn’t matter which side of the aisle you’re voting with foreclosures up 57% and new home construction at its lowest in 17 years it seems problem is obvious.

It’s disheartening that every time someone attempts to be honest about the current economic situation in this country, the same country that proclaims free speech and free press; something inevitably happens to discredit them in attempt to destroy their careers.

I understand why there isn’t any news on the news or in our newspapers as journalists need to eat too, but avoiding the truth to keep working isn’t right either.

Shout out to Mike Malloy, Randi Rhodes and Elliot Spitzer who tried to do the right thing and got taken down by nonsense.
