Natalie Portman as Audrey Hepburn in Harper’s Bazaar

I happened to catch Breakfast at Tiffany’s last weekend, and was reminded of the pure glamour that Audrey Hepburn exhudes from the screen. Though Breakfast is a prerequisite for any hauterfly, (and is fashion religion to some), fashionistas talk about it with such solemn reverence. When did fashion become so serious? This movie reminded me that fashion, like Hepburn’s character, is supposed to be fun.

Recently, costume jeweler Kenneth Jay Lane recreated the pearls that Hepburn famously wore with her Hubert de Givenchy dress, while munching a pastry in the opening of the film. For $400, you can flaunt your own pair of the limited-edition baubles and revel in the world that is fashion and fun. With his pieces, Lane reminds us to do just that.

A few choice pieces from Kenneth Jay Lane:

Tear Drop Earring, $100

Coin Ring, $45

Antique Bee Ring, $75

Enamel Austrian Crystall Cuff, $240
