I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Labor Day. While I’m prepping for New York Fashion Week, there’s tons of stuff to do wherever you are. So get out from behind the computer screen, chillax, and get your fun on! Here are some top picks for Monday:

Hang out on the Roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art to kick of the season’s Met Holiday Mondays in NYC. Info here.

It’s not Labor Day weekend without the Caribbean Day Parade in Brooklyn. Grab your spot early on the stretch of Eastern Parkway anywhere from Utica Avenue to Grand Army Plaza. Or, if you’re really adventurous, start the party early by reveling through the street during the overnight celebration of J’Overt. Start at Grand Army plaza, and follow the street bands until the sun comes up! (By the time you get this, J’Overt should be in full effect)

Feeling arty in the ATL? Visit the YoungBlood gallery for “The Screening Room, an art exhibit featuring off the cuff graphic artists and illustrators. It’s FREE! Gallery Info here.
