Director John Hughes Dies

John Hughes passed away in Manhattan on Thursday August 6, 2009.

The titan of teen angst movies passed away from a heart attack yesterday. Movies like The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off are some of my favorite ’80s movies. I can still watch them and laugh my ass off! Tidbit: Hughes also penned the screenplay for Jennifer Lopez’s Maid in Manhattan. First Michael Jackson, now John Hughes? Where has my childhood gone?! Below are some clips from the cult classics.

The Breakfast Club
Lmao, at the $31,000 salary!

Pretty in Pink
Ah, True 80’s style!
