Brooklyn, come See me!
I spent a good deal of my adult life in Brooklyn. So much so that Confessions of a Black Travel Diva definitely has its Brooklyn imprint stamped all throughout its pages. I spent many hours in my friend’s boutique on Tompkins Avenue, writing, rewriting, and reading pages aloud, trying to get every detail right. So it seems fitting that I would hold a public event right in the heart of Bedstuy where this book was finalized. Come out to enjoy some good eats, live music, and a reading. You won’t regret it. Best of all? the event is free!
