At first glance of the name you would think this person is Arabic. But this Ghanian artist is taking the art world by storm–a modern day Dadaist of sorts– by turning the ordinary into the extraordinarily beautiful. The pieces featured here were crafted by thousands of bottle caps. Anatsui’s assistants hand flatten each cap, after which the artist arranges them into a work of art. Sometimes, after arranging the caps, he scraps the project completely, and begins again.
