Woo Hoo or Boo?

I’m all for a great trend, and I enjoy finding new and interesting ways to make a trend my own. I like knowing that no one can rock anything quite like me. But really, what is anyone going to do with these? Did they really bring these back?! I can’t wait to see what the world will do with these granny sandals. And look at that…they even came back in multiple colors to make someone feel special.

Oop! They come in gold too!

But the crazy thing is they’ll probably grow on me, or I’ll find something which these sandals may actually compliment.

Nah!

What do you say? WOO HOO! or Straight-up Boo?

If your game and you like these…lovelies, you can get your own pair for $50 at Aldo.com

Hello Mellow Yellow

I can’t tell you when the sun will decide to stick around. Maybe now that we’re approacing June, it’s here to stay even if for a little while. But if the weather isn’t nice to us the whole summer like spring wasn’t, here are a few goodies that you can wear more ways than one way and help keep things bright!

Not only is this comfy cardigan from Banana Republic ($24.49) perfect for wearing with bright white denim, but it also looks good worn with a long, flowing, floral summer dress. Pefect for the cooler days.

The wedge is the shoe of the season, and I love these by Kate Spade ($242.25) for their rope detailing, and because they seem to say spring is here and May flowers are on the way!

Though it comes back as one of the hottest trends again this, and one of my favorites, not everyone is big on the really frilly ruffles. But, you can still rock the trend with this simple yet chic pale yellow tie waist linen blend top. The ruffles are minimal yet still noticeable without being overwhelming to you. Pair this with great with khaki pants rolled at the bottom, or a black and white floral skirt. Make this trend yours.

All you need is a great pair of shoes and and fab handbag to pair with the eyelet mini dress from Arden B ($24.78). Just throw on and go. Easy and effortlessly sexy is what I call it!

Whether your going for a look that’s energetic or laidback, this simply bright clutch from Aldo ($24.35) will complete your look. It’s a simple design, but the bright sunflower color and patent leather material makes this clutch sizzle!

Behind Every Powerful Man

Citigroup CEO Richard Parsons

…Is a mistress. That’s no secret. But when I read that Citigroup CEO Richard Parsons had a mistress, a certain image came to mind. Men of that caliber of fortune–at least from what I’ve seen (Russell? S. Carter? Diddy? Bob Johnson?)– usually have a “special” kind of taste in women. So I was surprised when I saw this:

Model MacDella Cooper and Parsons at a gala

Beautiful, no doubt, but unexpected. Cooper runs a non profit organization for orphaned children in Liberia. It was just revealed that she and Parsons had a lovechild last August.

Speaking of Madame O: Time Magazine

Mrs. Obama looks STUNNING on the cover of Time Magazine. This photo was taken by award-winning photographer Platon.

Here is just the photo:
Makeup, lighting, everything is gorgeous.

And the composition of this photo is fabulous. This photo is by Carrie Shell.
